About

The name Green Ginger Lane is inspired by a tucked away café in Devon where you’ll find tables buckling under the weight of excellent cakes, battered shelves of tatty forgotten books and ancient dogs twitching in front of a roaring fire.

The sort of spot where you want to hole up for an afternoon and indulge notions of jacking it all in to start up an eco glamping site in a forest somewhere…

But that’s not likely to happen any time soon.

So. Loving all things curious, creative, inspiring, indulgent – putting pen to paper now and then to sketch or write, through Green Ginger Lane I simply aim to have some fun exploring all aspects to the ordinary life of a 40-something, small person wrangler, navigating the ‘middle-child’ shores of the Gen-X, between the boombastic boomers and mighty millennials…and joyfully embracing that new term ‘perennial’. Bring it on…

Thanks for visiting.

  2. Thank you so much for following my site, I hope you enjoy my stories. After a quick look around the site it seems you lead an extremely active and interesting life. I will have to remember I have a resource if I ever do a tale about somebody trekking up ice glaciers 🙂 Thanks again for taking the time out to read my work. Long days and pleasant nights.

    1. Thanks scribbl3r! Will keep tabs on your blog, is inspiring to see your work. Love creative writing too (now and then!), and starting a blog was a good way to encourage this and just writing generally, so is great to see others like yourself producing good, creative pieces online. Thanks for visiting me too!

    Hi, Susie!
This is a bit embarrassing but you subscribed to my blog a LONG time ago and it is only now that I managed to get back to you (and the others who subscribed at the same time). I really LIKE what you have here and am subscribing back.
    Cheers! 🙂
